Tam, a promotion turned into frustration
So much hype for nothing. Customers trying to take advantage of Tam’s promotion over the weekend (Tam fare deals over the weekend) saw their hopes turned into frustration and anger. Tam’s website was unavailable for most of the weekend (I unsuccesfully tried to enter the page a dozen times over Saturday and Sunday). Customers attracted by the promotional deals couldn’t check them out. But even worse, anybody wanting to carry out any operation not related to the flight deals couldn’t do anything either. No sales, no information, no nothing.
Hard to believe the IT department of one of the major Brazilian airlines cannot cope with the visits generated by a sales promotion. A sorry sight.
