Azul begins flying to Recife on 18 February
Azul has just begun selling tickets for its flights from Campinas to Recife. At the beginning it will be just the one daily flight, leaving from Campinas/São Paulo at 22:00 and landing in Recife at 1:15. The return flight departs at 02:45 and lands in Campinas at 6:00 am.
It’s a night flight and the initial price is quite interesting considering we are in the eve of carnival. It remains to be seen whether that price will be viable in the low season, given that the big companies have offered lower prices in the past. No doubt the competition will respond to this new flight soon.
