Pluna studying 4 new Brazilian destinations
Posted by: | CommentsAccording to a recent statement from a commercial director of Uruguayan airline Pluna, the company is studying for new Brazilian destinations: Campinas (state of São Paulo), Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais), Londrina (Paraná) and the capital Brasilia.
Presently Pluna flies from Montevideo, Uruguay, to São Paulo, Río de Janeiro, Florianópolis, Porto Alegre, Curitiba and Foz de Iguazú.
Air Italy and Livingston back in Maceió

Italian airlines Air Italy and Livingston are back in Maceió, where they are operating charter flights from Italy. The service had been interrupted for some months.

According to a news item just published, Spanish airline Iberia is planning a new flight to Brazil. It will be the first time the company flies to a destination other than São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro (it also flies to Salvador on a code-share with Iberoworld).
The candidates to get the new flight are Brasilia, Belo Horizonte, Fortaleza and Recife.
Although Iberia is not by any means an airline we favour, it’s great to hear Europeans will get a new entry point to Brazil.
Andes intends to fly from Salta to a new Brazilian destination

Gol will have three daily flights from the Aeroparque in Buenos Aires
Posted by: | CommentsGol airlines has announced that from 15 August it will have three daily flights from the Aeroparque de Buenos Aires to Brazil. The company will continue using the Ezeiza airport in Buenos Aires. Gol joins a series of other airlines with flights to Brazil departing from the Aeroparque airport in the centre of Buenos Aires.
Gol wants to fly to Puerto Rico

Brazilian airline Gol has just requested permission from the US transport authorities to fly from Brazil to Puerto Rico.
The flight would take place twice a week from 2011. The airline would use a B767-300 or a B737-800NG. The flight would depart from Guarulhos airport in São Paulo, make a stopover in Bogotá (Colombia) and continue on its way to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Boliviana de Aviación getting ready to fly to São Paulo

According to a recent report, Bolivian airline Boliviana de Aviación (BoA), with a permission from the Brazilian aviation authorities to fly to Brazil, is ready to launch its flights to São Paulo at the beginning of August. Prices haven’t been defined yet. The airline flies four Boeing 737.

From today 12 July airline TACA is flying daily from Lima in Peru to Rio de Janeiro (up until now it had four weekly flights). The airline uses an Airbus A320 on the route.
TAM confirms its São Paulo – Bogotá flight for December
