January 11, 2009 | By More

Uruguayan airline Pluna, on the way to full recovery, is announcing promotional flights for the month of February. Make sure you check out Pluna’s luggage rules before buying any ticket.

The promotion includes flights from São Paulo to Buenos Aires (Aeroparque) from US$150, from São Paulo to Córdoba from US$199 and from São Paulo to Santiago de Chile from US$299. Prices without taxes and on booking class O. Purchases until 23 January for flights exclusively during February.

Pluna also has a last-minute promotion for the São Paulo to Montevideo route, for flights this week (return on 17 January) for US$150 (US$202 with taxes). If you tend to fly the routes where Pluna flies, it might pay to keep an eye of the company’s flight deals.

According to Mercado e Eventos, Lan has a promotion for flights leaving both from Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo to any destination in Chile (except Pucón and Easter Island) for a fixed fare of US$349 (plus taxes). Flights until 16 June (except during carnival) and sales between 17 and 20 January. An interesting offer for those planning to visit the Chilean Patagonia.
