The blog already had a video section, now it has a photo section too. We open it with a couple of photographs of our own, taken in what must surely be one of the most humble airports in the entire country, Barreirinhas airport in the state of Maranhão, on the Brazilian north-east.

If you want to fly over the mesmerizing Lençóis Maranhenses your light aircraft will take off from here. If you fly from São Luís to Barreirinhas you will land here too.
