Etihad Airways, the Abu Dhabi-based airline, plans to operate a daily flight to South America in 2013 according to its CEO. The move would be part of the global expansion of the airline. No details are known yet about the destinations the carrier will fly to but it shouldn’t come as a surprise if Brazil featured on the list. Two Gulf airlines, Qatar Airways and Emirates, currently fly to Brazil.
