Copa: São Paulo – Lima for US$179

March 15, 2011 | By More

Panama’s airline Copa has promotional fares (not officially announced yet) to fly from Brazil to Peru with a stopover in Panama City. There are fares (LPRT30) from US$175 (about US$278 once the airport tax is added) departing from São Paulo. For departures from Rio de Janeiro or Belo Horizonte the fares are more expensive. Maximum stay at destination of 30 days and a US$115 penalty for date changes.

São Paulo – Lima via Panama City is a great detour but opens the possibility of visiting the Central American country – the tariff allows for a stopover.

The fare is not available yet from Copa’s site but appears listed in Orbitz (which in turn is based on ITA). Galileo features the fare, too.
