According to Panrotas magazine, Jamaica’s minister for tourism declared recently that negotiations with Brazilian airlines (Gol/Varig were mentioned) and travel agencies are at the point where soon it will be possible to announce a new direct flight from Brazil to Jamaica. Up until now Brazilians wanting to reach Jamaica had to do so via a third country.
