Brazilian airports to offer free wi-fi

November 29, 2008 | By More

Could it be that, for the first time in quite a number of years, Infraero is about to deliver good news? The Brazilian government’s body responsible for the running of airports in the country announced that from December it will offer its users free wi-fi access to the Internet at 12 airports.

The list of airports includes Guarulhos and Congonhas in São Paulo, Galeão and Santos Dumont in Río de Janeiro, Confins in Belo Horizonte, and the airports of Brasilia, Belém, Curitiba, Manaos, Porto Alegre, Recife and Salvador.

As Infraero is involved, we can only hope the promised connection is up to standards.
