What is D Airfare?

About the blog

D Airfare is a blog with the aim of giving its readers all the information they need to find the ideal airfare. For some, ideal will mean the cheapest possible price; for others, the fastest possible route; there will be a group of readers for whom the number of miles earned on the trip will be an important consideration. We keep all the different type of readers in mind when we write the blog’s posts.

To achieve our objective, D Airfare combines news on the commercial aviation front – always commented and analysed, with topics of interest to travellers. From information on the rules governing transportation of luggage in Brazil, to small tutorials introducing technical concepts such as GDS’s. Our main interest are trips that have Brazil as its origin or destination. But a sizeable part of the information contained on the blog can be used to purchase tickets to any destination throughout the world.

The blog section top entries is an excellent entry point to the blog.

About the authors

As it is the case with its Spanish language counterpart, D Vuelos, D Airfare is the result of a partnership between RODRIGO PURISCH, author of Aquela Passagem (Portuguese blog that pioneered a generation of blogs focused on air travellers in Brazil) and TONY GÁLVEZ, author of De viaje a Brasil, The Brazil Travel Blog, Blog de São Paulo, Alojamiento en Brasil and Accommodation in Brazil (blogs in Spanish and English that aim to help foreigners organize an unforgettable trip to Brazil).

Out of this partnership, aviation and travel meet in a space that will attempt to digest for the foreign traveller the intricacies of air travel in Brazil.
